Becca Wadlinger is a writer currently based at Wieden + Kennedy Portland. Clients include Coca-Cola, Samsung, Nike, KFC, Yoplait, Facebook, Diet Coke, P&G, Levi's, Chiquita,

Travel Portland, and more. 

 

Rebecca Wadlinger is a poet and graduate of UT Austin's Michener Center for Writers and the University of Houston's PhD Program in Literature and Creative Writing. Her poetry collection Terror/Terrible/Terrific is forthcoming from

Octopus Books in 2019.

Becca Wadlinger is a Creative Director who spent a decade at W+K Portland, where her strange, magical poet-ness earned her the nickname "Dr. Word Lady."

Before working in advertising, she received her MFA in poetry from the Michener Center for Writers and doctorate in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Houston.

 

She is the author of the poetry book Terror, Terrible, Terrific (Octopus Books) and the translator of Gro Dahle's surreal collection A Hundred Thousand Hours (Ugly Duckling Presse).
